Work-study degrees

Kick-start your career with a work-study degree at ELABO

Combine a practical training in our company with a study at the university.

In cooperation with the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and the "School of Management and Technology" (SMT) of the Steinbeis University Berlin, ELABO offers study places for various degree programs and models.

Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW)

The dual study program at the DHBW takes place at regular intervals between theoretical and practical phases. Not only does this provide you with theoretical content, but you can apply it directly in practice in your practical phases at ELABO. You will gain valuable professional experience during your studies. The study lasts three years and the change between theory and practice takes place every three months. Thus, your study time is very varied. Small course groups during the studies at the DHBW provide intensive support and contribute to your learning success. During your time at ELABO, you will go through different departments. You will get insights into the different areas and get to know the ELABO and its innovative solutions.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering (B.Sc.)

Enthusiastic about the opportunities offered by cutting-edge electrical and electronic systems? Love to puzzle over tricky technical problems until you finally find the solution?

Then you should definitively give us call after finishing school. During your three-year programme, you’ll switch between your studies and gaining practical experience at our company. During the hands-on phase, you’ll be trained in our Development unit, where you’ll work on the latest products for customer projects and requirements.

Business Informatics (B.Sc.)

An interest in working with data and computers plus solid maths skills and an ability to think analytically are key requirements for a business informatics expert.

During your three-year programme, you’ll switch between practical training at ELABO and studies at your dual university. The field of business informatics offers a wide range of job roles. You could be developing IT solutions for business management and administration, for example, and working in a wide range of interesting projects.

"School of Management and Technology" (SMT) of the Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin

The Steinbeis School of Management and Technology is a private university, which is characterized in particular by the so-called project competence study. The close intermeshing of theory and practice is not only taught but also lived by Steinbeis. Small class sizes, relatively short lecture blocks (usually one to two weeks) and a high transfer rate ensure that what has been learned can be implemented and deepened very quickly in practice. The tuition fees will be borne by ELABO.
