ELABO is part of the Baden-Württemberg Mechatronics Network, a steadily growing association of leading partners in the state from the fields of manufacturing, services, research and teaching. The primary goal of this network is to pool the existing competencies in mechatronics in Baden-Württemberg and promote these more effectively outside the region.
Another key focus is to tackle the increasingly complex conditions met in working environments – especially in relation to Industry 4.0.
To this end, innovative solutions are being investigated in various projects, which are then presented for discussion at a series of public events. One well-known example of this is the ‘Arena of Integration’ that can be seen every year at the Motek trade fair.
