"We believe that our takeover of ELABO GmbH offers us additional opportunities and the potential to grow our industrial workstation storage solutions business. We can now offer our customers a wider range of products and services. ELABO GmbH is well-established in the area of laboratory, assembly and testing workstations. In the past few years, the Bott Group has focused on the area of industrial assembly workstations. We can see clear and promising synergies between the two business sectors and believe that we can continue to grow further together in both markets. From a strategy perspective, the acquisition of ELABO GmbH is therefore an important milestone for Bott," says Jan Willem Jongert, the CEO of the Bott group of companies and its spokesman.
Also Timo Henkelmann and Dr. Mark Dolezal are positive about the future. "There was little overlap regarding our solutions in the past, so we were never in competition with each other - rather, the ELABO solutions now complement bott's portfolio. The Elution® software in particular is a perfect match for Bott's workstations and assembly systems. Together we want to cover the market much more broadly in the future. We are looking forward to the cooperation and the future with a new strong partner on our side", says Dr. Mark Dolezal, Managing Director of ELABO GmbH.
The bott company group develops in-vehicle equipment, working and operating equipment and workplace systems in three European locations. bott delivers its products to customers in industry and craft worldwide. Its efficient work in manufacturing, service and installation are at the forefront here. ELABO GmbH has been part of the Bott Group since February 24, 2021.
ELABO currently employs around 185 people at its Crailsheim site, which will continue to be the competence centre for digital transformation, networked working environments and automated testing systems. The former CEOs of ELABO GmbH, Timo Henkelmann and Dr Mark Dolezal, will still head the business.
